Tuesday, Day 4, Week 1

7:30 AM - hunger not so bad today. Maybe I'm adapting. Gotta make sure I take in plenty of water today, as well. Today will probably be an earlier dinner, and I might have two stages of dinner - one a couple hours after the first. We'll have to see.

10:50 AM - hunger has been unnoticeable since the fruit drink this morning (1/2 a litre this time). Drunk one litre of water already. I'm noticing recently though that my hands feel fairly cold, and I don't often get cold hands. Perhaps this has something to do with the diet, or maybe it's just because the weather seems a little cold outside. Most likely the diet, though. I'll have to consider this and try and figure out what reason there would be for decreased warmth in my hands (and feet somewhat, too).

11:00 PM - heading to bed. Hunger really hasn't been much of a problem today. I went to school decked out with a banana, an apple, and a couple of strawberries and some grapes. I didn't feel the need to eat any of them. Afterwards, I got home and ate at around 7:00 PM. I was an eating machine. I could have just kept going, although limited resources forced me to stop. I started out with some lettuce and some salad dressing, followed by about 1/3 of a plate of chopped ham, topped with cheese and sweet and sour sauce. I then got more meat, having another 1/3 or so, with cheese and sauce again. After that I moved on to the rice. It was white rice, and I put some butter on top. I felt like I could have gone for more but I couldn't be bothered to get any more since I'd already put everything away.

I felt quite satisfied afterwards, and didn't feel hungry at all before bed. I considered getting more, since I had room for more and didn't want to eat too little, but I read an article on T-nation that had some guidelines for the Warrior Diet, and it said not to eat a second meal unless you're actually hungry after the first one, and I wasn't, so I didn't eat again.

Concluding thoughts: The hunger isn't bad, not bad at all. I didn't really feel hungry enough to warrant eating fruit snacks during the day, so I didn't eat anything until dinner. Maybe my body is adapting already.
